This morning I watched a revisitation of FOX' broadcast of that morning beginning with the initial interruption of the original programming. It was chilling twenty years ago. It was chilling this morning.
I know why we went into Afghanistan. Those bastards. I lost a 28 year old female friend in one of the towers.
That day was hell for many thousands of Americans.
The saying "never forget" seems trite until you really remember.

I lost a friend who worked for Cantor Fitzgerald in one the towers. Left behind a wife and daughter. So many tears I shed that day as I worried for my family and friends who worked in the Towers and were NYPD and FDNY. The first responders I personally knew were fine except for Mike. RIP and God bless all those souls and God bless America!
